What Do You Believe Is True Even Though You Cannot Prove It?

Great minds ponder a great question.

Warning: Hold tightly to your ears to keep your head from spinning.

I believe that Gar has become too lazy to write his own blog entries, but I can't prove it.

You are correct, Sir!

I believe that the people I care about in blogland are friends as much as those I meet in more tangible ways.

Friends as much ... indeed, in a way. But I am unable to love you as I love my friends nearby. Sometimes, as when my spouse takes ill, or my child suddenly leaves, or other tragic events befall, I need someone to be present. With me. Someone I can see.

But in other ways, the written word carries power that other subtle gestures cannot. Thank you for your contributions, and your written generosities. They are meaningful.

Gar, my friend,
Thank you for the reassurances, although they weren't necessary. I was telling YOU something, not asking for something.

My dear Festinog,
You can not say you weren't warned.

Remember that episode of Star Trek called City on the Edge of Forever... They beam down on this planet that has this big round, stone portal. McCoy has just injected himself with some serum that makes him crazy and paranoid and he jumps through the round stone thingy and ends up at a mission run by Joan Crawford(????Is that who it was? Did she later play on Dynasty?) in the 1930''s or 40's. Anyway. That big stone portal said that since long before our sun burned in the sky, it had awaited a question.
That was a great episode of star trek. Sigh...

Fille, (I may address Fille on your blog, Gar, I hope and pray),
If I were ANY richer I would own the original series all seasons on DVD. It hovers there on top of my list.

That's what I get for posting after having a few. This is fun ... I've never hosted a love-in! I suppose Brendar is appropriately attired. Cue up that Carpenters LP.

Star Trek indeed! I'm a blogger, not a psychotherapist! She canno taek nahmahr capten! I'm given 'er all she's got!
